The problem with these are they are too vague and are trying to hard not to offend, but they don't really mean anything. How about:
Clean Government
Strong Defense
Energy Independence
More Jobs
Affordable Healthcare
Social Security

The Dems are sucking Beltway exhaust. "Real Security?" That sounds like a petulant and/or snide comment about Bush.
When are the Democrats going to learn that hatred of Bush is pulling them down a rathole?
They've got to focus on positive values, as you've done in your 8 words.

I disagree with part of this. I think the problem is not enough willingness to directly call out the Republicans for their short-comings -- and offer clear alternatives at the same time.
But they're so cravenly afraid of looking "soft" to the clueless center that they try to split the difference all the time and end up being thoroughly uncompelling.
The Republicans at least know how to be an opposition party. Even the impeachment, which blew up in their faces short-term, worked long-term since it de-balled Al Gore and made him run away from Clinton in 2000.
