Don't try to pull a fast one on me... My 3 yo daughter, during an early bedtime after a nap-free day, after nearly dozing off, sits upright and gives me an accusing look.

"Is this a nap?" she asks, horrified.

"No, it's bedtime."

"Oh. OK." She lays down again. A few moments later, she gives me the same look. "Then why is it still light out?"

"It's summer, it stays light late."
